Shortly before taking the ice to play the Vegas Golden Nights on Friday, the NHL’s New Jersey Devils hosted a high-profile celebration at their Newark Prudential Center home to mark the opening of sportsbook partner William Hill’s new 1,200-square-foot Sports Lounge at the same center.
And it worked wonders for the Devils who despite being the 75-1 underdogs, went on to snatch victory in overtime and give their fans a good reason for more celebration – especially those who placed bets on their team winning.
The new high-tech William Hill’s lounge features more than 32 digital LED screens on a massive 13.4’ by 3.78’ video wall that features all of the world’s most popular sporting events on a round-the-clock basis as well as the latest odds on these events.
The lounge is located outside Section 18 on the Main Concourse of Newark’s Prudential Center where it is handily placed to benefit from all of the Devils’ home games and from the more than 175 concerts and special events that are held at the arena annually.
William Hill, one of the international sportsbook giant, have undertaken during all these concerts and Devils’ home games to staff this, their first branded hospitality lounge in New Jersey, with special ambassadors tasked with helping Devils fans and concert-goers who want to learn or learn more about sports betting.
