One of the top rushers in college football will be featured when RJ Harvey and the UCF Knights (1-0) host the Sam Houston Bearkats (1-0) on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
The Bearkats are expected to lose by at least two TDs (currently +21.5) versus the Knights (with an over/under of 54.5 points).

- A season ago Harvey racked up 1,416 rushing yards (108.9 per game) and scored 16 touchdowns. He added 19 catches for 238 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
- Last year Johnny Richardson ran for 573 yards on 87 carries (44.1 yards per game), with one rushing touchdown.
- Last season Javon Baker was targeted 83 times and notched 52 catches for 1,140 yards and seven touchdowns.

- Keegan Shoemaker threw for 2,507 yards while completing 63% of his passes with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season. He also carried the ball 93 times for 254 yards and one score.
- John Gentry churned out 391 rushing yards (32.6 per game) and scored three touchdowns. He also added 35 catches for 261 yards with two receiving TDs.
- Noah Smith grabbed 79 passes for 783 yards last year and scored six touchdowns. He was targeted 110 times, and averaged 65.3 yards per game.
- Malik Phillips’ stat line last season was 35 grabs for 430 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 35.8 receiving yards per game.
- Al’Vonte Woodard totaled 339 yards on 31 catches with two touchdowns in 2023.
- Issiah Nixon put together an impressive stat line of five sacks, four TFL and 25 tackles.
- Trevor Williams racked up 133 tackles, six TFL, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions over the course of his 2023 campaign.
