The Week 7 schedule for the NFL again includes bye weeks, so there isn’t a full slate of games. The weekend also doesn’t contain the marquee matchups of last week when we had the Kansas City Chiefs/Buffalo Bills game on Sunday afternoon and the Dallas Cowboys/Philadelphia Eagles game at night.

Marquee games, or now, we can still find a fun parlay to put together from this weekend’s games.

New York Giants +3.5

No one wants to buy into Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. But the Giants are beating good teams like Green Bay and Baltimore, and they have handled both teams’ MVP quarterbacks. The Giants’ offense has cashed in inside the red zone on 65% of their trips and completed nearly 50% of their third-down conversions in the last three weeks.

The Giants’ defense shouldn’t have a problem getting to Trevor Lawrence this weekend. They get pressure on 25% of dropbacks this season and blitz more than 40% of the time. That scheme gave Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, and Ryan Tannehill trouble this season, and Lawrence is less experienced and more turnover prone than all three veterans.

The Jaguars have come back to Earth with three straight losses after a hot start. The defense gave up nearly 400 yards to Matt Ryan and the Colts last week, despite knowing the top two running backs were out injured.

New York Jets +120 ML

The Denver Broncos’ offense is broken, and Russell Wilson may be hurt. They are averaging 1.29 points per drive this season, 31st in the NFL and have lost three straight games. They have no running attack, and Wilson has looked average at best.

Robert Saleh has the Jets playing great football. They put 40 on the board against Miami, then went to Lambeau and beat Green Bay. They won’t be scared on the road in Denver and have better coaching. The Jets’ defense has been fantastic so far, and Zach Wilson isn’t making mistakes.

The Jets also get better as the game goes on. They have a +48 point differential in the fourth quarter, which leads the NFL. They are also 3-0 ATS on the road this season, and Denver is 0-3 ATS at home.

Falcons +6

The resurgence of Marcus Mariota is quickly becoming a great feel-good story of the 2022 season. Mariota has been fantastic running the ball for the Falcons, and he completed 13-of-14 passes last week in the upset of San Francisco. Overall he has a 62% completion rate, and though he’s under 200 yards passing per game, Mariota is leading scoring drives to get the Falcons to 3-3.

Atlanta can run the ball, even without Cordarelle Patterson. They rank seventh in the NFL in explosive run plays, and the Bengals have allowed the most rushes of at least 10 yards on the season.

The Bengals may have turned the corner last week, but they just haven’t clicked like they did last year. The good thing about the Bengals’ porous offensive line is that the Falcons are 30th in the NFL in sacks and pressure.

The Falcons have been able to keep it close against better teams, and they pulled off the straight-up win against the 49ers. That came a week after they rallied late to cover against Tampa Bay. Look for the Falcons to control the clock and stay with the Bengals on Sunday.
