BROOKLYN NETS VS. MILWAUKEE BUCKS GAME 4 BETTING PREVIEW

The Milwaukee Bucks made a statement in Game 3 with their dominant performance, showing that they are definitely here to play after two tough losses to start the series.

The Milwaukee Bucks took their first game in this best-of-seven second round series against the Brooklyn Nets. And while the game was anything but pretty, it will provide the Bucks with some much-needed hope as they can now even the series up at two games apiece in Game 4. But the Brooklyn Nets will be looking to take a 3-1 lead with a victory in Game 4 as they look to snuff out Milwaukee’s hopes of advancing.

Brooklyn Nets Betting Preview: Hoping For Better Offense

The Brooklyn Nets were only able to muster 83 points in their Game 3 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, but the numbers were so much uglier than that total shows. Outside of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Bruce Brown, the rest of the Nets scored just 15 points for the entirety of the game. In addition, Brooklyn shot just 36% from the field for the game and 25% from three-point range, numbers that aren’t good enough to beat many teams, let alone one as good as the Bucks.

Also concerning for the Nets was their late-game offensive strategy, which saw Bruce Brown take a disproportionate number of shots down the stretch. While some of this can be credited to some inspired defense from the Bucks, the Nets will need to do a better job of getting the ball into the hands of Durant and Irving in big moments.

James Harden is going to be out of Game 4 for the Nets, as he has yet to appear for Brooklyn since he suffered a hamstring injury in Game 1 of this series. While the Nets have done well without Harden, for the most part, this season, having a player as offensively gifted as Harden would have certainly come in handy in Game 3.

Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview: Shot Selection Questions

Milwaukee barely got through the Brooklyn Nets in Game 3, scoring just 86 points in a rather hideous win. But the Bucks were at a point where style points mattered much less than just getting on the board in this series with Brooklyn, and they accomplished that goal. In Game 4, the Bucks will look to take better shots en route to evening up this series.

Specifically, the Bucks will look to eliminate the three-point shooting of Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 4. In their last game, Antetokounmpo took eight three-point attempts and made just one of them. For the Bucks to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole in this series, the Greek Freak will need to avoid jacking up so many threes so the Bucks can get shots with a higher percentage of chance of success.
