Making a 3-leg parlay with only two games available has become easier over the last few years as sportsbooks have embraced the Same Game Parlays.
Both games this weekend have plenty of betting opportunities in two exciting matchups between teams with young quarterbacks.
With that in mind, here’s a parlay for this weekend’s game worth considering.
San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5)
The 49ers have run off nine straight victories with two different quarterbacks has been a fantastic stretch. San Francisco will be forever thankful to third-string quarterback Brock Purdy for helping guide the team to seven of those wins. But as the stage gets bigger, it’s hard to imagine Purdy will be able to keep producing.
The Dallas Cowboys made Purdy look uncomfortable last week in the NFC Divisional Round. Purdy passed for 214 yards on 19-of-29 passing and didn’t throw a touchdown pass for the first time since he took over as the starter.
Philadelphia has an excellent secondary that will make life difficult for Purdy. With home-field advantage, getting the Eagles at less than a field goal feels like a steal.
49ers-Eagles under 46.5 points (-110)
San Francisco showed in its win over Dallas last week that they are willing to win with an old-fashioned attitude. If the 49ers have to run the ball with Christian McCaffrey and lean on their defense to get them to the Super Bowl, they would be fine with that. Philadelphia is also comfortable counting on its defense to hold things down.
The Eagles’ offense is explosive but will have to show it can meet the challenge of a team outside of the NFC East. Philadelphia beat up on the New York Giants for the second time this season last round. The 49ers will be ready to put pressure on Philadelphia and keep this game in the 20s at the highest.
Jalen Hurts over 243.5 passing yards (-113)
Hurts taking a big step forward has helped Philadelphia become a juggernaut. While Hurts hasn’t thrown many touchdown passes by modern standards, he is at the center of a balanced offense that can be a threat to score anywhere on the field. Most importantly, Hurts doesn’t turn the ball over much.
Hurts has passed for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns thus far this season. The 49ers did show a vulnerability down the stretch by getting beat in big places in a narrow win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Hurts will hit one or two big passing plays to put Hurts over his total for passing yards. During Hurts’ career, he has completed 62.5 percent of his passes when passing for 20 or more yards in his career.
Hurts showed in the playoff game against the Giants that he is healthy from the injury he suffered late in the season.
