The Las Vegas Raiders are hoping to find a way to build momentum against their much more successful division rival Monday night. Kansas City is 3-1 and coming off the destruction of Tampa Bay last Sunday night. The Raiders beat up on Denver last week to pick up their first win of the season.

Las Vegas hopes to frustrate their division rivals to pull off an upset win on the road. Here’s a look at what to bet Monday night.

Over 51.5 points

The Kansas City Chiefs’ offense has once again looked among the best in the NFL. Kansas City is second in the league in scoring offense, putting up 32.3 points per game.

The Chiefs are also fifth in the league in total yards and seven in passing yards. In two games this season, Kansas City has scored 40 or more points.

The Raiders showed some life on offense last week. Las Vegas put up 212 rushing yards on the Broncos, which mark marked the most rushing yards the Raiders had in a game since 2016. If Las Vegas is going to be competitive in this game, it is going to have to put up points.

Derek Carr over 272.5 passing yards

Despite the Raiders stumbling out to a 1-3 start, Carr is still 10th in the league with 1,038 passing yards. In a game where Las Vegas may get down early, Carr may have to throw a lot to keep the Raiders in the game. Carr has one 300-yard passing performance under his belt and nearly had a second.

Carr also threw for 295 yards in a season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Kansas City has been vulnerable to the passing attack of its opponents. The Chiefs’ defense ranks 27th in the league in passing defense, allowing 263.7 yards per game.

Part of the reason Kansas City has allowed so many yards against the pass is opponents have had to try to come behind once the Chiefs built their lead. That exact scenario seems likely to happen at Arrowhead Stadium Monday night.

Travis Kelce over 72.5 receiving yards

Kelce could break Tony Gonzalez’s record for consecutive games with at least one catch by catching a pass against Las Vegas. Odds are that Kelce will catch a lot more than one pass.

In every game this season, Kelce has caught four or more possess. Kelce has also had a reception of 19 or more yards in every game.

Kelce has a season-high reception of 35 yards and averages 12.4 yards per catch. While Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes has spread the ball around more this season than in past years, he has still found plenty of opportunities for Kelce, who is his favorite target. Kelce will find holes in Las Vegas’ defense and be able to get over 73 yards.
