A Unibet online sportbook is set to join the 14 already launched in New Jersey during the past year.

And with others like Bet365 already in the pipeline, there could be close to 20 operational by the year’s end.

Unibet’s owners, international gambling giant, the Kindred Group, disclosed this intention his week when it announced it had begun trading online in the Garden State.

It had obtained a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License in New Jersey in 2018 and would be operating under its flagship brand name, Unibet.

At this stage only online Casino products like slots, roulette and poker are available in New Jersey.

Unibet to launch a sportsbook in coming months

However, their first US sportsbook will be launched in this fast-growing sports betting Mecca in the coming months. It will be powered by world-class Kambi software.

Senior Vice President of Kindred US Manuel Stan said: “We are thrilled to announce that Kindred can now offer New Jersey customers a truly great gambling experience.

It would come, he said, on a top-end technology platform in a “sustainable, safe and secure environment.”

“We have been preparing for this first and important step very thoroughly for a long time. We are excited to take another step into what will most likely become the largest betting market in the world.

“This announcement is the first one in a line of hopefully many more since we believe in the importance of the US market.

Pennsylvania next in line for a Unibet

“Next in line will most likely be Pennsylvania and Kindred’s strategic partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono.

“Kindred have always put the customer at the heart of our operations. Ensuring they can enjoy their gambling is crucial for us.”

Another announcement by Kindred was that they will shortly be unveiling a re-designed Unibet logo to ‘better cater for today’s mobile-first environment’.

This will be done via the “social media on June 17.

Elen Barber, Kindred’s Chief Marketing Officer, said: “It was important to safeguard the unique heritage of the Unibet brand. The creative criteria that we set up included maintaining familiarity with a more up to date look and feel.

“I am really pleased with the result and truly believe our creative team has succeeded in meeting our criteria.”

After operating for over 20 years in Europe and Australia, Kindred have established some of gambling’s most recognized online brands. They have also built up a customer base of 25million and are confident they can become a major player in the US.
