The Golden State Warriors, the 2018 NBA Champions, have struggled without Stephen Curry this season.

Their 31-year-old super star point-guard has been sidelined with a broken hand since October – and its showing. Right now their win-loss record of 12-45 is the worst in the NBA.

It’s no wonder, then, that Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is holding thumbs that Curry will be fit and able for Sunday’s NBA match. The Warriors are playing the Washington Wizards at the Chase Centre

The two-time NBA MVP has played just three and a bit games this season. However, he is known to be targeting Sunday’s match to make his Basketball return. And in the words of Kerr, “That is our hope,”

Much was expected of Curry this season. This was especially so as Klay Thompson has been out with injury and Kevin Durant took leave of the Warriors when he became a free agent.

Unfortunately Curry lasted only three games. In is 4th on October 30, 2019, Curry collided with Aron Baynes of the Phoenix Sun when driving at the basket. Baynes fell awkwardly on Curry’s left hand and surgery was required to repair a broken second metacarpa.

Doctors expected Curry to be out for three to four months. They were right. He has been. Lets hope they have fixed him
