DraftKings, the New Jersey sports fantasy giant, the state’s first sportsbook operator to go online and its current sportsbook market leader has entered into a deal with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) that they believe will intensify fan involvement in MMA.
Speaking about the collaboration, Donn Davis, Co-Founder and Chairman of the PFL, said: “The winners in this partnership are MMA fans, first with fantasy and eventually in gaming (sports betting).
“The PFL is re-imagining MMA, and we look forward to collaborating with DraftKings to offer new engagement for fans while creating new revenue streams for our business.”
The PFL season started with 72 fighters and will end with the best two fighters in each of the six weight divisions contesting the finals in each division in one spectacular finals night.
A number of MMA betting markets are already available on the DraftKings’ New Jersey sportsbook. Now to play the 2018 PFL World Championship Pick ‘Em fantasy game, starting with the PSL Championship on New Year’s Eve. Fans to predict four outcomes for each of the six fights.

However, the fantasy game will provide a live leaderboard on which players will be able to track their position in real time, and DraftKings will award $25,000 in guaranteed prize money.
