ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE VS. FLORIDA GATORS BETTING PREVIEW

The Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Florida Gators in Saturday's SEC Championship Game.

It’s been a season like we’ve never seen before, but we’ve finally made it to the SEC Championship Game, and it’s going to be an exciting one to watch. The No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide bring their unbeaten 10-0 record to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to take on the No. 7-ranked Florida Gators (8-2).

The two teams haven’t met since 2016, which was the SEC Championship Game and was played in the same stadium. They also met for the SEC Championship Game in 2015. Alabama won both of those matchups, so the Gators are definitely looking for revenge.

The game starts at 8 pm ET and will be televised on CBS for those that want to see what goes down on Saturday night. As always, the betting lines are open for anyone looking to place a bet on the SEC Championship Game — something millions of people are already doing!

Can the Crimson Tide remain undefeated this year?

The Crimson Tide are 10-0 this season. They’ve built a winning tradition like none other, only losing a total of six games over the past six seasons — most of those coming in the College Football Playoff. This year has been no different, but they’re looking to win the championship — something they haven’t done since 2017.

Mac Jones is going to be instrumental to that success. He has 3,321 yards this season with 27 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He doesn’t turn the ball over often and moves the ball well on offense.

Najee Harris is also having a fine season, recording 1,084 rushing yards and a whopping 22 touchdowns.

DeVonta Smith rounds out the three-headed monster on offense with 1,327 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns.

Will the Gators redeem themselves after last week?

The Gators might be 8-2, but they were one shoe away from being 9-1. They’re coming off a disappointing loss to the LSU Tigers — a game they could’ve won, but a penalty for throwing a shoe ruined those chances late in the game. They’ll be looking to redeem themselves on Saturday against the best team in the nation.

The Gators have one of the best quarterbacks in college football this season. Kyle Trask has a total of 3,717 yards, 40 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. He doesn’t rush much, but he has help from Dameon Pierce (441 yards, three touchdowns) and Malik Davis (277 yards) in the backfield.

Kadarius Toney is Florida’s leading receiver with 831 yards on 62 receptions and nine touchdowns.

Betting Odds & Lines

This is a big game for both teams as they look to walk home SEC Champions, but who do you think wins? FanDuel Sportsbook has the Alabama Crimson Tide as 17.5-point favorites over the Florida Gators. It also has the over/under listed at total points.

Free Betting Pick

Saturday is full of action for those that love football. We’ve got college football all day long and even a couple of NFL games to keep an eye on. Of course, that means there’s a lot of money to be won if you’re smart with your picks!

As much as I’d love to see an upset by the Florida Gators, I think the Alabama Crimson Tide are just too powerful for them to handle. I’ve got Alabama winning this one by two touchdowns, but I don’t think it can cover the full 17.5 that FanDuel is giving them.

Final Score Prediction: 41-27, Alabama Crimson Tide.

Free Pick: Florida Gators (+17.5)
