Each week that passes by, the NFL grows closer and closer to providing fans with the playoff football that we all look forward to every year. On Sunday night, those same football fans will get a taste of potential playoff football when the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Western New York to take on the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills are without wide receiver John Brown, but they’ve been getting the job done without him the past two weeks. They’ll also be without safety Jaquan Johnson, but they still have their two-headed monster in Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer. Overall, we’ll be seeing a pretty healthy Bills team on Sunday night.
The Steelers aren’t as healthy as the Bills, but they’ve also been getting the job done despite injuries. For Sunday night’s game, they have Cassius Marsh, Vince Williams, and Joe Haden listed as out. They also have Robert Spillane on injured reserve.
Can the Steelers rebound after their first loss?
Entering Week 13, the Pittsburgh Steelers were 10-0 and getting ready to face the Washington Football Team. Everyone was ready to chalk up last week as another win for the Steelers, but Washington stunned the entire NFL community by ending the Steelers’ perfect season.
Ben Roethlisberger is going to be key to a victory on Sunday. The Steelers are facing a team that knows how to score in a multitude of ways, so they’ll need Big Ben on top of his game.
So far this season, he has 3,105 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions — which is great for someone his age.
Will the Bills continue to prove themselves?
The Bills are having one of their best seasons in several decades. Their confidence is through the roof, they’re playing disciplined football, they’re getting the ball in the end zone, and they’re limiting penalties. It’s truly been solid play in all three stages all season long.
Josh Allen has led this team well. He has 3,403 yards, 26 touchdowns, and eight interceptions through the air. He also has 322 rushing yards and six more touchdowns on the ground. If he continues this level of play, he’ll be in the running for the league’s MVP award.

There’s something about Buffalo that I love this year. They’ve got that type of fight you need to see in a football team.
I think Sunday’s matchup with the Steelers will be a tight one, but I think it’s one they win and all thanks to another fine performance from Allen.
