Aaron Rodgers praised the Davante Adams to the skies after the Green Bay Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Adams ran 160 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns in the 28-23 win that takes Packers into Sunday’ NFC final.
Rodgers, who completed 16 of 27 passes for 243 yards and two TDs, told Fox Sport, “He carried us on offense. “Devante had an unbelievable night. His route-running ability was incredible.
“We came up with a timely stop because Russ (Wilson, the Seahawks quarterback) and their offense was pretty tough.
Packers lead 21-3 at halftime
Green Bay set up their victory by taking a 21-3 lead into halftime and then holding off the Seahawks as they hit back. They now face the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in the NFC final next Sunday.
“We’re going to enjoy this one first,” he said. “I think it’s super special. It was extra special to get the ball to Jimmy [Graham] there on the last third down. He was in Seattle for a few years, but we’ll enjoy this one tonight. Then we’ll get onto San Francisco
Rodgers paid tribute to the 49ers, who finished the regular season at 13-3 before overcoming the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.
“They’re a great football team. They’ve had a fantastic year. I think we and they are the two best teams in the NFC. We have to go out there and get a win.”
