Just days away from the weekend’s divisional playoffs, Mark Ingram, the Baltimore Ravens’ star running back, has again missed practice.
Ingram also sat out the Ravens’ final game of the regular season when they beat Pittsburgh Steelers 28-10 on December 29.
This was because of a calf muscle injury sustained earlier in the week.
There was more bad news for Ravens fans and for New Jersey punters at Tuesday’s practice. The 30-year-old king-pin was still not ready to rumble.
Only four days to Titans clash
And this was now just four days away from the Ravens’ clash against the Tennessee Titans, conquerors of the mighty Patriots last weekend
In his 15 appearances Ingram scored 15 touchdowns during the regular season – the fourth most in the NFL. He’s had a lot to do with why the New Jersey sports betting industry currently have Baltimore as the Super Bowl LVI favourites.
He’ll certainly be missed if his injury-enforced stay on the sidelines continues.
