The Saints and Ravens are both high-scoring teams that are hoping to win their respective divisions.

Baltimore already has a one-game lead in the AFC North and will be looking to gain separation with a win over New Orleans. The Saints are a game behind the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC North division race that doesn’t feature any super-strong teams.

Here are three bets worth making for the NFL’s Week 9 Monday Night Football game.

Baltimore -2

The Ravens’ offense has once again found a ton of success behind healthy quarterback Lamar Jackson. Baltimore is second in the league in rushing, averaging 165.6 points per game. The Ravens’ offense is also fifth in the league in scoring, putting up 26 points per game.

New Orleans has just been OK against the rush, limiting opponents to 112.5 rushing yards per game, which is 14th in the league. The Saints have been starting veteran quarterback Andy Dalton under center. Dalton has passed for 1,175 yards, and he’s thrown for nine touchdowns and four interceptions.

Baltimore has 14 turnovers so far this season, which ranks third in the league. The Ravens forcing Dalton into mistakes should allow Baltimore to cover the spread on the road.

Over 47

New Orleans hasn’t been a stranger to being locked up in slugfests this season. The Saints’ defense has struggled to hold down opposing offenses, while New Orleans’ offense has been scoring at a good clip. The Saints have seen five of their eight games go over the total.

Baltimore isn’t your dad’s Ravens, either. Once built around a strong defense, the Ravens now rely on their offense to win them games. While Baltimore’s defense is capable of creating turnovers, they aren’t always able to keep their opponents off the scoreboard.

The Ravens allow 22.9 points per game, which is 19th in the league. That makes them good dance partners for the Saints. New Orleans is eighth in the league in scoring at 24.9 points per game but also allows 25 points per game, which ranks 28th in the league.

Andy Dalton over 233.5 passing yards

The Saints haven’t been shy about letting Dalton throw the ball all over the place. While he’s only eclipsed 230 yards in two of his five appearances, this sets up to be a good game for him to put up big numbers. Baltimore has struggled to slow down opponents passing attacks all season.

Dalton loves to throw the deep ball and has completed four passes of 33 yards or more this season. If the Ravens’ secondary falls asleep at any point, Dalton will try to stretch the ball over the top. Dalton will eclipse his total in a game that will see plenty of big plays.
