Finishing drives separate the good teams from the bad ones in the NFL. When it comes to Week 4, there are a number of teams hoping to jump-start their seasons or continue an already strong start.
Here’s a look at the top four NFL players that are likely to score a touchdown this Sunday.
Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans, -150
Henry and the Titans are off to a disappointing start this season. Tennessee’s offense seems to have rapidly aged since they were on the door of the Super Bowl a few seasons again. However, the Titans’ offense is built around finding ways to clear space for Henry.
In 12 career games against Indianapolis, Henry has scored six touchdowns in 12 games. That included a three-touchdown performance in one game in 2020. The Colts’ defense has been stingy thus far this season, but Henry will close out at least one drive with a scoring run.
George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers, +190
Pickens, a Steelers wide receiver, grabbed the attention of the league in the preseason, but the offense’s early-season struggles have sidelined his hype.
In five games, Pickens has only caught five passes for 65 yards as Pittsburgh quarterback Mitch Trubisky has struggled to fit into the offense. The Steelers will be playing the Jets, who rank 15th in passing defense.
Trubisky will be feeling the heat if Pittsburgh loses to New York and will need to try and get the rookie wide receiver involved to put points on the board.
Isaiah McKenzie, Buffalo Bills, +200
There haven’t been good injury reports concerning Bills receiver Gabriel Davis, who has been one of Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen’s more consistent wide receivers this season.
With Baltimore likely to key on top receiver Stefon Diggs, this will open up some opportunities for McKenzie. So far this season, McKenzie has been targeted the second-most among Bills’ receivers, getting targeted 15 times.
McKenzie has hauled in 11 passes for 132 yards and has scored two touchdowns. Baltimore’s secondary is suspect, and the Bills should have plenty of opportunities to make plays through the air.
Baltimore ranks last in the league in passing yards allowed, having given up 353.3 a game. The Ravens have also allowed 24.7 points per game, which ranks 24th.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles, -105
Hurts is leading an electric offense in Philadelphia. Instead of trying to force Hurts into becoming a pocket passer, the Eagles have built their offense around Hurts’ mobility.
When playing Jacksonville this season, you can expect Hurts to be on the move throughout the game. So far this season, Hurts has scored three rushing touchdowns.
Twice this season, Hurts has carried the ball more than ten times in a game. He has rushed the ball 37 times for 167 yards. Hurts is averaging 4.5 yards per carry and has a long rush of 26 yards. Hurts will find a way to score.
