With Real Madrid reportedly turning their attention to Harry Kane, Bookmakers and Punters alike believe that he will be be lured away from Tottenham Hotspur sooner rather than later.
It is now odds-on that the Spanish champions will be the 24-year-old’s next club and it is now reported that Spurs have a fight on their hands to keep him.
The England international has never hidden his desire to stay with his boyhood club, but as he goes in search of his third consecutive Premier League Golden Boot – it appears less and less likely that Spurs could hang onto him.
“The market around Harry Kane is heating up, that is for sure – and Bookmakers have acted quickly in cutting the odds on Real Madrid landing the Spurs star,” revealed OddsMonkey spokesman Peter Watton
“The reports that Real are stepping up their interest has clearly attracted the Punters and now Bookmakers are odds-on that they will be his next club, indeed odds-on that he will play for one of the La Liga giants Real or Barcelona at some point in his career.
“Tottenham plan to move into their new stadium next season, but as it stands Bookmakers are not sure he will be with Spurs when they return to White Hart Lane.
“If you think Kane is soon to be on his way, you should certainly be looking to get on him now.
“Another interesting market concerning Kane is who will captain England at the World Cup finals next summer? And if you think it will be him, you are not alone – he is now odds-on to be the next permanent Three Lions skipper following on from Wayne Rooney.”
