OKLAHOMA SOONERS AT BAYLOR BEARS BETTING PREVIEW

>

The Baylor Bears have a forecast 71% chance to win against The Oklahoma Sooners with a spread of -8.5/8.5 and an over/under of 68.5. The Baylor Bears are 0 – 0 against The Oklahoma Sooners in the 2021-22 Season.

Saturday, November 13th Oklahoma Sooners @ Baylor Bears

The Oklahoma Sooners are on the road this weekend as they take on the Baylor Bears in Waco.

The Sooners are ranked #4 in the country, while the Bears are ranked #13 in the country. Oklahoma has yet to lose a game as they sit at a perfect 9-0, but they have had some close calls.

Baylor is 7-2, and both of their losses have come within the conference. Baylor is coming off of a shocking 30-28 loss at the hands of TCU, while Oklahoma just routed Texas Tech, 52-21.

This is going to be a really important game for both of these teams as they look to prove themselves heading into the bowl season. Oklahoma is looking to prove that they belong in the College Football Playoff.

Meanwhile, Baylor is fighting to stay in the Big 12 Championship race. If Baylor takes down Oklahoma, then that opens the door for them to make the title game if some things flow their way. If they lose this one, then all of their hopes are dashed as they would not be able to make it.

Look for this to be a very competitive game on Saturday.

Sooners Look to Continue Streaking

The Sooners have been really good since switching from Heisman frontrunner Spencer Rattler to freshman Caleb Williams. Williams has been a spark for this Sooner team and has put them on his back in recent weeks. Last week he threw six touchdowns in a blowout win.

As Oklahoma’s offense is ticking along, that means that the defense only needs to be decent for the Sooners to win football games. Oklahoma is allowing 24.2 points a game on the year, which is fairly solid for their defense overall. Look for them to continue their offensive explosion this weekend.

Can Baylor Overcome the Loss Last Week?

Baylor lost a shocker last weekend and put their hopes of a Big 12 title shot on the back burner as they are now a game behind Oklahoma State, which they have already lost to.

For them to make it to the Big 12 championship, they will have to beat Oklahoma and then hope that Oklahoma State loses two games the rest of the year. If Baylor loses this game, they have no shot as Oklahoma State holds the tiebreaker over them.

Baylor should come out really strong in this game and ready to prove a point at home. Look for them to attack the defense of Oklahoma and see if they can’t win the ball over the top.

Oklahoma vs Baylor Prediction and Odds

Oklahoma is the road favorite, and rightfully so. They are a -230 moneyline favorite and are a 5.5 point favorite against Baylor. Baylor is a +190 moneyline underdog.

The over/under for the game is 62 points. I would expect that Baylor comes out ready, but no one has been able to stop Oklahoma.

I think that Oklahoma will cover, and the over will hit. Look for this one to be over quickly.
